Top team's play analysis (new)

As season progresses, it will be fun to compare the team's performances. Here is a new addition to my stats and I look forward to add more on my list.

• Look at Phoenix Suns Offensive figures. Only Orlando matches them all in offense
• Did you notice Dallas's exclusive bpg 12 blocks per game?
• Houston leads all in Offensive rebounds (14)
• There is no big difference to the Defensive rebounds with Orlando's exceptional number 35
• Its interesting to see how Half-court defensive Detroit scoring 101 per game trying to catch Offensive teams like Utah (108), Denver(107), Phoenix (106) , Boston (104) and Denver (102). I am really not very clear about Boston's game because of their new gel (Pierce, Garnett and Ray Allen)
• This year Orlando is big surprise being leader in 3 points with quite-obvious high-energy SUNS
• Phoenix SUNS dont paint the paint with Free Throws. Most of all they stay effiecient in and accurate in scoring field goals. In playoffs, it does matter and it will be interesting to see if Stoudamire and Diaw can make it
• Look at Turnovers and Pesonal Fouls and you will see why Phoenix Suns plays CLEAN basket ball. High profile guard like Steve Nash doesnt fear to make mistakes while he attempts those magical moves and consitently trusting his team mates.

My Stats in Shape

Working in my free-time, I could produce finally some things thats sharable and interesting. Check out the images of two of them that I could produce with few automated "clicks".

- 6 - Shawn Marion : He is one of the most underrated players in NBA. He can shoot from the outside and runs the floor as well. truly Matrixed.

A little Agent 13

How old were you when you received your first basketball and what did it feel like to have your very own?

SN: I started playing basketball when I was 12 or 13. So I must have been 13 when I got my first ball. It felt good. It felt like a new friend.

When did you realize you had serious game?

SN: I was pretty good right away because when you are 12 or 13 it is more about what other sports you've played. If you are good at other sports you can translate it easily to any sport at that age. I realized when I was about 13 or 14 that I had a chance to be a really good player.

What advice would you give to someone who aspires to play in the NBA?

SN: I think you have to work extremely hard. You have to be creative and you have to make it fun. You have to be creative enough to expand your game. But you also have to be creative enough to find new ways to inspire yourself and make it enjoyable so you do want to get out there everyday and work hard and find a way to do more and more and more. And continue to push the envelope with how hard you work and how you can separate yourself from all the other players.

2006-07 stats

This year again I am going to create a extensive statiscal engine for Suns. Here are two of the graphs from 2006-07 season. Look at the stats

• They didnt loose a single game by 1 point
• 17 times Suns won by 5-10, 18 times 10-20 and 13 times above 20.
• When they scored 100+ points, their winning ratio is 53:8
• When they scored less than 100, its 15:6
• Suns just dropped 14 games to total 89 games
• Dont forget to notice their winning streaks. After dropping first four games, they turned the whole table upside down.

Phoenix-SUNS Coach: Mike D'Antoni

D'Antoni is currently head coach of the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association. He has worked for the Phoenix franchise since 2003, and won the NBA Coach of the Year for the 2004-05 season after leading the Suns to a 62-20 record and a trip to the Western Semi Finals.

Let me introduce to its pillars in my own way. These are my comments and not copied from any sites.

- Who is Steve Nash for SUNS?

The best point guard in the game today and who is always hungry to win the games. Look at his new share the ball basket ball game and you almost falls in love for this guys atheletic and swift passes. 2 times MVP and front runner for 3rd.

Strengths: For Suns, he is the main driver and facilitalor. His moves and passes always gives headache for his opponent coaches. The most daring and brave player in crisis.

Weakness: His small body frame and his back problems sometimes becomes a concern

- Who is Amare Stoudemire for SUNS?

Amare who came back from injury back to his original strength of fast roaring finish to the basketball. He is rare player having big frame and can play fast run-a-gun basketball.

Strength: His dunks and driving faults is amazing into the paint. I would say he is a greatest painter of the game. For opponents he is feared for his hunger for the basket. A great finisher of the game.

Weakness: Great defense can stop him. He is beneficiary to Nash's great passes. If Nash goes weak, it affects him most times.

- Who is Raja Bell for SUNS?

Mr. Bell is so famous for being cool and deadly when game hungs both the sides. I still remember him drilling game-tying 3-pointer against Lakers in last seconds.

Strengths: Great defender and 3-point player. He is daring defense is already ready to take hit inside the paint. Great stamina and best fits into Mike D'Antoni's innovative fast break perimeter basketball.

Weakness: Sometimes, bad lucks hits him and his shots goes awary. He cannot dominate the paint.

- Who is Shawn Marion for SUNS?

The Matrix; commonly refered because of his versatile moves and finishing the baskets. Solid basketball player who can play at back and front courts effectively.

Strength: Speed and versatile makes him one of the best rebounding forwards. The great athlete is one side of the SUNS revolving triangle that has other sides Nash and Amare. Its magical to see Nash or Bell tossing the ball in air over the basket and Shawn thumping like a hungry tiger.

Weakness: Sometimes his accuracy fades in the last quarter of the game.

- Who is Leandro Barbosa for SUNS?

The Brazilian blur from Soccer world plays basketball similar to fast running soccer. His speed and stamina gives SUNS an extra-ordinary pace of attack. He is one of the reason why even camera men struggles to chase the run to the basket.He also gives Nash a rest and break by playing at his position.

Strength: Speed and fast pace- 3 pointer shooting star in cluch moments- Perfectly fits into D'Antoni's new way of playig basketball

Weakness: He is not starter of the game and something warms the bench- Few takes, he goes off the focus.

Number 13

Watching Steve Nash playing NBA basketball is always a treat to all the basketball lovers. At present the best passer, mover and the most valuable player on the planet, he is ingenious at his approach to design the game. If you got to learn to drive strategy in your daily day-today life, here is chance to get inspiration. Watch him and slowly you mind and heart will be trained like what he thinks. His mission is always i hunt to be the best until the last drop of your blood and until the last drop of the ticking minute. For those who havent had chance to see him playing basketball or you are never been attracted towards 48 minute basketball, here is a great chance to hug this game and his D'Antoni'an Unique Style of basket. "Run and gun", "Run, Run and run fast", "Block and oh shoot"..

He is a player who is also exemplary in Soccer(European Football) and hockey. Every time her makes those impossible move, you hear "how the hell" in all over the stadium that also includes his opponents. If you hold yourself from the saying, you cant hold it long because he is bound to make another mover smarter and charismatic than another. Finally you gave up and said "how the hell, is he ding that". Everytime he walks on the court, its a puzzle for his opponent's team's coach. Everytime he makes move, its challenge for his team-mates to read his thoughts. Its a bomblastic action for whole 48 minutes. Better you stop putting too much time in One-days, shift to 20-20 and spend some minutes for watching NBA (Nashful Basketball Action).

Men's Journal reports, NBA is known fairly or not for superstars who rolls five deep; 20-something moguls in tint-glass who travels with handlers and hangers-on.--- Nash when shows up at Manhattan arrives on foot and on his own at a diner he selected. Clad in his baggy gym shorts and sleeveless tee - Nash in un-adorned by tattoos or diamonds or even a watch.He was connected to sexu British Elizabeth Hurley ad singer Nelly Furtado, but he dismissed gossip curtly and we have no trouble to believe Nash. He is proud father of twin girls and has taught Spanish; language of his better-other-half.He is intellectually curious and broadly read. Everyone knows he is the best mover and passer of the ball. No NBA star comes any closer to his POINT guard play. but ask him about his accomplishment and he says "All I have done is rush the ball up and try to make it fun for the guys I play with". ny credit should go to them and Coach Mike D'Antoni who believed in this style of play.Phoenix is 179-69 since Nash signed and has led league in scorig each of the past three years. "Oh well, if you are asking HOW I SEE THINGS, um actually the truth is, I dont know" This offcourse, is nonsense. Nash knows exactly what he's doing, havig worked so hard to make the risky and impossible look a regular routine.

Stay tuned as NBA pre-season followed by regular season (nov 1), I shall make this plance heluva for all that Steve Nash makes out of his team Phoenix-Suns..and I am after hunt for a 2007-08 NBA championship. I want to see HIM hodling the trophy. I have already planned to book tickets on Dec 2 and March 28 when he tours EAST and plays against NJ and NY.
